As salam. hi all. just want to share with you another handmade birthday card using CD case, which is specially made for my another half. his birthday falls on Aug 12. :)

I started my project on the night of Aug 10 whereby I need to fully utilize what I have in hand in order to make this card (since I didn't specially look for any craft stuffs to custom his birthday present -- plan nak bagi benda lain but sangat tak sempat nak buat -- so I go for plan B!).

so, this is the result of the few hours making process, which I considered quite good within so little time (masuk bakul sampah, angkat sendiri na). eheh.

it's a combination of soft peach and brown color, plus some polka dot motives here and there. love the flourishes die cut so much! ^^ as for the front page, I used 6x6 Love Letter paper pad and it's actually with glitter effect. so so naissss~

since I need to go to work on the 11th morning, I can only resume my project in the evening. :( what's worse, I need to go to PPL Shah Alam before 6 pm! so, what else do I need to make since I already finished the card? 

I want to make a felt cover to protect the CD case! feel want to. hmmm. sangat gatal kan? but..

berjaya! ^^ feel so excited when the size of the felt cover matched really well with the CD case. I made it within 2 hours start from scratch i.e. sketching! memang Tawakkaltu Alallah. but Alhamdulillah. semuanya dipermudahkan. :) 

but one thing about this present. I didn't managed to post it on time. reached PPL around 5.30pm and it was closed already. T-T maybe I was wrong on the working hours. yeah, definitely. T-T

only post it on Monday. so sorry for the delay, dear. :( I really want it to reach u right on ur birthday but.. I was late. T-T

as salam. hello lovelies. hope you are doing good. :)

well firstly, I hope it's still not too late to thank all those who visit my blog and those who have supported me from day one until today. am really really appreciate it. do leave your links behind so that I can pay you a visit in return. insyaAllah. ;)

secondly, I apologize for the long silence (yeah.. 11 days were considered long to me~ HAHA). I was a bit busy finishing some orders and Alhamdulillah.. one urgent request has been successfully delivered to the customer last Thursday. *wink!*

the customer is actually a good friend of mine. hehe. she ordered a birthday card using clear CD case (purple theme + a frog on lily pad) and also a frog felt keychain.

so what's with the huge butterflies then? HAHA. she loves butterflies (euw euw~) a lot and yes, it seemed like both miss butterfly and mr froggie get along well in the card. ekeke.

I used Jubilee Teal Florals & Butterflies pattern paper by K&co and a double-sided patterned cardstock from Coquette Paper Collection of Prima Marketing to make the card. let's see the closer view of the outcome.

ouh. as for the above part of the card, I used notary clear stamp from Prima Marketing to add some kind of patterns on the blank purple paper. 

I feel so relieved when she said that she likes it (heard that the receiver also love it. yey!). that's more than enough for me. ^^ and she adored the froggie so much! auw~ she even asked me to make another one to put inside the CD case. that's a pretty good idea. ;) 

okay, enough on that. below is the frog felt keychain that I mentioned earlier. 

hope it does look like a frog. ^^'

next is an order from a good friend of mine as well. a horizontal ID card holder using felt.

soon after I uploaded a picture of my sister's ID card holder on Fb, I received several requests to open order for this card holder. well actually, I don't really have confidence to do it since I just learn to sew. >_< but my friend insisted to have one so I try to make one for her. Alhamdulillah, she likes it. ^^

she bought 90 pcs of mini red clip and 30 pcs of kraft wrapping bag for her wedding day. hopefully everything goes well on her side. ;)

next. a special request from Sarah, CD case birthday card. just a simple one for her friend.

I was quite rushing while making this card because she need it within 1 week. but Alhamdulillah, I managed to get it done in about 4 days. luckily I found all the materials (clear CD case, paper to be used as card, etc) I need just in time. I'm so thankful for that cuz I've a tight schedule (work-related) since early last week. phew~ 

I used a good quality paper to make the card (not a commonly use wrapping paper ya) and it's indeed quite expensive for a small piece of paper. hmm.. maybe I should just use common wrapping paper je next time. ne? 


the main highlight is all your messages can be written inside the card. oh. I just noticed that I didn't take any photo to show you. sorry. ^^' but as for Sarah's order, I only made the main part whereas she will do the rest. ;) 

I hope she satisfies with the outcome. :)
